OT: e-mail problems

I need help, not just for using Outlook Express *points at self and laughs* but also because my mail programs (including Pegasus) stopped working. Just like that *BAM*. I didn't change my provider, I didn't change my password, NOTHING. I can kinda understand that maybe Outlook stops working, but Pegasus as well?

Both programs reject my password (which is 100% free of fuck-ups and typos btw.) and refuse to work.

three days now and my mails rot away on the server. Any idea how I can get them home?

Have you contacted your ISP?

Comcast does that every now and then - usually after they perform maintenance and forgot to restore everyone's account settings.

Yeah, call your ISP first. Some power fluctuations can mutate TCP/IP parameters and stuff. Happened to me......
In case they want you to re-install outlook, try to backup first your messages and addresses.

Odds are they screwed up on a local POP3 or SMTP server, which would "reject" your password because IT forgot, not you. Happens a lot with my dad's IP (Opexonline). After running around through hoops, proving that everythign is right on his end, they always end up fliiping a switch on their side trhe next day and it's fine.

once I had a three day internet outage because some assclown tripped over my cable in their server-room. YES; they actually admitted THAT!
